BookstallA BOOKSTALL is open in the hall on Sunday after our 10.30 service. The idea of the bookstall is to provide a service to all at St. George's, both offering you advice and helping you to actually lay your hands on English books for your spiritual journey - not always easy to get here. Since we get many of the books at a discount of 10% (which we pass on to you), and pay the postage, any books you buy at the stall will also very likely be cheaper than elsewhere. Apart from offering you books to buy, the bookstall also occasionally has a ‘Book Review of the Week‘ that comes mostly from the web and is based on independent reviews, such as www.thegoodbookstall.org.uk – a site that does not actually sell any books but exists to help church bookstalls (and you) select them. So watch out for us in the hall on Sunday mornings – and do let us know how we can help find the right book for you to read or give away!. Finally, if you would like to help with the bookstall, please contact the Chaplain. There is an English language LENDING LIBRARY open at advertised times. The lending Library offers a large selection of registered and systematically ordered English booksand is usually open after the main Eucharist on a Sunday and also on Wednesday afternoons between 3 and 6pm.
